My Princess Look

Oh my, I can't believe this amazing day was only 8 months ago! I can't wait to have so many years of the happiness I get daily being married to my best friend! Today I wanted to reminiscence about the details that went into making me feel like a princess on our wedding day. If you know me, you know I am a planner. When we were setting-up in the morning I was not allowed to go to my bridal suite because Rob had a surprise. What?! That was not in my schedule anywhere and I had everything planned out to a T. I was anxious all day to know what he had done. Finally, after going to the salon to have my hair done, we arrived at the Garden Room to get ready. I was surprised with some fresh Tuberose from the Fayetteville Farmer's Market, a scrabble hanger made by Rob (he came up with that on his own!), my wedding gift, and my love letter.

The hanger was all his idea! I love it and keep it displayed in my closet. Scrabble was a continued theme throughout the wedding. My love letter is framed in a shadow box by my bed. Don't worry, I have a copy in my nightstand I read often!

I love my wedding dress! I always dreamed of myself in a princess ball gown, so when this one made my heart skip a beat I couldn't believe it! It was the 1st dress I tried on and five dresses later the one I said yes to! It is by Nicole Miller.

Oh these were a pure treasure! I was so excited to wear these down the aisle. My first pair of designer shoes and I am a Manolo Blahnik lover. It was my something blue!

My beautiful little sister getting ready! I was so glad she spent the whole day with me. Love you!

The Garden Room had the perfect Bridal Suite for photos. Mirrors lined the wall and they had the cute quote on the wall.

My makeup artist, Hannah, was awesome! I would recommend her to anyone having a special event in NW Arkansas. She was fabulous! She did my makeup for my bridals and the wedding day. Also, look at how beautiful our bouquets are! Althea from Rose of Sharon was so organized and made my flower dreams come true!

This is almost the best picture I have of my hair. Nicole at Studio 8 in Fayetteville did my hair. I went to her when I was in college and love her. My hair was everything I hoped for and then more! Plus, she is a great joy to work with! I will grow my hair out nasty if we are going to Fayetteville just so she can do it!

My beautiful bridesmaids. Their dresses are so beautiful and worked wonderfully with everything!

I love this photo of my mommy. I wish he would of focused on her instead of me. I love to see a smile on her face when she is about to 'give me away'.

In goes the veil! It took us awhile to make sure it will stay. I went with a cathedral length because my mommy cried when I put it on. I loved my entire look! A big thank you to my wedding stylist Elizabeth. She helped with everyone's outfits and made every moment special!

My little cousin, Austin, was helping me get ready most of the time. He sat there like such a gentleman. He was my ring bearer and I am so proud of him. He looked so good in his suit! I wish there was a picture of him sitting there, asking me what I was drinking (white wine=grape juice right?), and telling me his Toms where funny looking!
